Information we collect
- When you contact us (by phone, email or social media): your name, contact details, location, vehicle details and any other information you give us so we can carry out the recovery or answer your enquiry.
- When you browse this website: technical and usage information (such as pages visited, device and browser type, and IP address) collected through cookies and similar technologies — see below. This website has no user accounts and no online forms.
How we use your information
- To provide recovery, transport and roadside assistance services you request (performance of a contract).
- To respond to enquiries and quotes (legitimate interests).
- To keep records we are legally required to keep, e.g. for accounting (legal obligation).
- To understand how the website is used and improve it (analytics).
We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Tag Manager, which may load analytics tags (such as Google Analytics) that set cookies and collect usage information about your visit. These are only loaded if you choose “Accept” on the cookie banner shown on your first visit — if you choose “No thanks”, no analytics cookies are set. Your choice is remembered on your device; to change it, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and the banner will appear again. The website works fully without cookies.
Anonymous button-click measurement
We record clicks on telephone, WhatsApp and email/enquiry buttons to understand how visitors contact BnD Recovery. These events appear in our private Redsite customer portal. The tracker sends a random event ID, the page path, the type of action and the button location to portal.redsite.ai; the portal records the event time.
This click tracker uses no cookies, browser storage or persistent visitor identifiers. It does not record visitor names, email addresses, phone numbers, location pins, message text or URL query parameters. A click does not confirm a connected call, a WhatsApp conversation or a sent enquiry. The portal collector temporarily uses the request IP address for rate limiting; it is not included in the stored click event.
Global Privacy Control disables this click tracker. The browser's legacy Do Not Track setting does not disable anonymous button-click measurement. The optional Google tags described above remain controlled by the existing cookie banner.
Embedded services
Some parts of this website load content from third parties, which may collect technical data (such as your IP address) and set their own cookies:
- Google Maps — the map on our contact page (Google’s privacy policy).
- Elfsight reviews widget — displays our Google reviews on the reviews page (Elfsight’s privacy policy).
How long we keep information
We keep the information from jobs and enquiries only as long as needed for the purposes above, and to meet legal record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to ask us for access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information; to restrict or object to our use of it; and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at contact@bndrecovery.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

We may update this notice from time to time; the latest version will always be on this page.
